Long ago, gods (Archons) granted humans the ability to use elemental powers and shaped civilization. About 500 years ago, an ancient civilization fell, causing widespread chaos — peace is only now returning. Teyvat is divided into seven distinct nations, each tied to an element and ruled by an Archon. Archons: Each nation's Archon embodies its element and influences culture, politics, and belief. Elemental Power: Certain humans are gifted with Visions — tools that let them channel elemental energy. These are seen as blessings from the gods.
