What is Image Editing?
Image Editing is a feature in Arcloop's free canvas.
You can use it to modify existing images, or continue generating new images from reference images. It is useful for adjusting character images, scene images, prop images, and storyboard images.
For example, if you generated an early-look character image for "Zhen Huan," but the background is too messy, the size does not fit video, or you want a clearer version, you can open Image Editing and keep working on it.
Where do you open Image Editing?
You can open it from an image in Library.
In Library or My Assets, find an image and click the pencil icon on the image card.
After opening, the current image enters the Image Editing workspace.
You can edit it directly, or use it as a reference image to generate new images.
What can Image Editing do?
You can complete these actions in Image Editing:
- AI image generation: enter a prompt to generate a new image
- Smart background removal: remove the image background
- Smart outpainting: expand the image outward to fit ratios such as 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, and 4:3
- Resolution adjustment: upscale or adjust image size
How do you save edited images?
After editing, you can choose:
- Download: save the image locally
- Save to Library: keep the image in the current IP world for later use
- Bind Asset: connect the image to a character, scene, prop, or visual reference
If you will use the image again, save it to Library.
If it is an important reference for a character, scene, or prop, bind it to the corresponding asset.
How do you bind an image to an asset?
In the image editing result, choose Bind to Asset.
You can bind the image to:
- Character
- Scene
- Prop
- Visual reference
